Well today marks a week till the big day...yea the big number 1. Madison will be 1 next Sunday and it is just absolutely amazing how fast they grow. I never imagined it was this fast. OK, so I mentioned in my last blog almost one month ago that she had stood up for the first time well she beat her record of steps taken today. She is not only standing by herself but just about walking. She took about 7 steps today without any support. We are just very happy for her in this wonderful time in her life and ours. We had a great weekend this weekend. We spent most of our time at Noni and Papa's where we love to go. They have lots of room to play and have lucky dog to chase. She gets so tickled at my mom and well my mom's dog. She LOVES to play with him and we just hold our breath thinking when is that dog going to bite her. Hopefully never but she is a little rough with him.
So we are on real food now but still on the bottle. The daycare started feeding her real food about 3 weeks ago and I felt that if she was getting good food at daycare then why should she get terrible baby food at home. Well she can handle just about anything you put on her tray as you can see with the pics above. Next, I am going to be working on taking the bottle away. It is a hard thing to do because she has just not quite got the drinking from a sippy cup down. She can most certainly do it but she does not drink a whole lot from it and I am worried about her not getting enough to drink. Well I guess I will just give it time.
